The LEVEL determines which pages will display the ad:
Home Page -- ads will display on Home Page only.
State Page -- ads will display on whichever of the 50 states (or DC) you select -- those are linked-to in the left column on every page.
County Page -- each state page displays one or more county links at the top of that page. County Page ads display on whichever one of those pages you select.
Town Page -- each county page may list one or more towns, villages or cities. You can select any one of them for your Town Page ad.
Site-Wide -- ads will appear on every page on the site.
County-Wide -- ads will display on the selected county page, plus every town page for that county.
NOTE: History 50 States website is still growing, though we offer over 4,000 content pages already. As new pages are added, they will automatically display the appropriate Site-Wide or County-Wide ads. If you do not see a town or city listed for which you wish to place an ad, you can order it anyhow and we will create the page to host it.

Ad Content - Display ad listed size is in pixels. Your ad may be a JPEG or GIF image (animated GIFs are allowed), which will be linked to your website, or may be text, so long as it fits in the alloted space. If you want us to produce a display graphic, based on your website content, we will do so at no extra charge.
TEXT-LINK ads can have up to 200 characters of text -- use <> and </> to indicate beginning and end of the part of the text to apply the link to. There are three possible locations for text links: the RESOURCES list, if the site is strictly for historical or genealogical oriented sites, in the LOCAL BUSINESSES list of the site offers products or services to the community; and SUPPORTERS list if the site does not fit in either of the other two categories. The price is the same for all three locations, and they are also in close physical proximity on the page. By default, county-wide and page-specific links are put in Local Businesses, and site-wide go in Supporters -- other placement available upon request. Links are displayed in purchased order.

All ad content must be family friendly. No ads will be accepted from adult sites or any site endorsing illegal activity.

Minimum Order - Due to processing costs, minimum order is $5, for lower-priced ads you should combine several until you meet the minimum charge.
