Littauer. He removed to New York city in 1865, where he attended Chartier institute, and he was graduated from Harvard in 1878. He engaged in glove-manufacturing with his father at Gloversville, to which business he succeeded in 1882. He became an officer and director in many commercial and financial institutions. He was a Republican representative from the twenty-second district of New York in the 55th, 56th, 57th, and 58th congresses, 1897-1905. |
