Contact Us! 15% - 35% off all Products ยป The Ready Store Biographies:A Short Biography of George Frost George Frost, delegate to the Continental congress, was born in New Castle, N.H., April 26, 1720; son of Commander John Frost, of the British navy, and a nephew of Sir William Pepperrell. He became supercargo and captain of one of his uncle's vessels in 1740 and followed the sea until 1760, when he returned to his native state. He was judge of the court of common pleas, 1773-91; a delegate to congress, 1777-79, and a member of the governor's council, 1781-84. He died in Durham, N.H., June 21, 1796. |

It occupies an island comprising 458 acres, situated in Portsmouth harbor, and connected with Portsmouth by a bridge. Population, 891. New Castle is situated 7 meters above sea level. |
