Biographies:

The Biography of Robert F. Broussard

Robert F. Broussard, representative, was born near New Iberia, La., Aug. 17, 1864. He attended the University of Georgetown three years; served as inspector of customs at the port of New Orleans, 1885-'9, and was graduated at Tulane university, LL.B., 1889. He engaged in the practice of law at New Iberia; served as district attorney of the 19th judicial district, 1892-'6, and was elected a Democratic representative in congress, 1897-1905.
